Impress your clients with 5-star service when you offer complimentary lash removals!

As an eyelash artist, clients may come to you with leftover lashes from their previous Full Sets. Alternatively, you may meet clients who want lash extensions solely for a special occasion and will request removals days later. In either situation, you will need to know how to properly remove eyelash extensions without harming the client’s natural lashes or irritating her skin or eyes.

Your clients will love that you offer optional removals in addition to eyelash applications! While we recommend that you offer complimentary lash removals for clients who are in for a fresh Full Set, you can charge a fee for full removals. Stocking-up on lash remover will increase your studio’s income in the long run, while making your clients even happier!

Just like the adhesives you use and the eyelash extensions themselves, you should always work with the best removal solutions in the industry! At Eye Design’s Fifth Avenue studio, our technicians have two options: Cream Remover and Gel Remover.

Which one is right for you and your clients, Cream or Gel? Sometimes, your personal preference may dictate which Remover you choose; other times, it is your clientele who decides. The busiest lash artists should keep both available in their studios at all times!

With a little practice, you will find both formulas are easy to use! Simply cover the client’s lower eyelid with an eyepatch (or tissue) prior to application. When applying the product, avoid smudging or dripping any of it into the client’s eyes. Properly applied Eye Design products do not cause irritation or allergies. We are proud to be a cruelty-free, hypoallergenic studio and store!
